Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join a well-established Residential Conveyancing team based in Edinburgh. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive environment, assisting on a broad range of residential property transactions.

As the successful candidate, you will support solicitors with the day-to-day management of conveyancing matters, helping to ensure a high standard of client service throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
• Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
• Drafting LBTT returns and registration documentation
• Ordering title documentation and property reports
• Liaising with clients, agents and third parties
• Supporting file management and transaction progression
• Maintaining accurate records and internal systems
• Providing efficient and professional client service

About You

• Previous experience within residential conveyancing in Scotland
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive and professional approach
• Strong team player with a client-focused mindset
• Relevant legal or paralegal qualification preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered
