Solutions Architect

Permanent: Edinburgh or Glasgow - hybrid working.

A leading, technology-driven organisation is embarking on a major modernisation journey and is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help shape its product strategy.

As a Solutions Architect, you will own the solution design and delivery. Partnering with business analysts and developers to design new solutions, features, and integrations -translating requirements into clear, actionable technical designs and working closely with engineering teams to deliver them.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions, integrations, and application architectures
• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
• Provide architectural guidance to cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product)
• Define data flows and integration patterns for a modern data platform
• Facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions
• Contribute to and shape the organisation’s long-term technology strategy

We’re looking for someone with strong experience across:

• Microsoft Product knowledge
• Cloud architecture (Azure preferred)
• Application and solution architecture
• Producing high-quality technical designs
• Translating business needs into technical solutions
• SaaS and cloud-native platforms
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
