Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day
Forsa Energy

Location: Greenock / Edinburgh

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Forsa Energy (“Forsa”) is a leading independent power producer established in 2011. The company has a strong track record in developing, constructing, owning, and operating energy assets across Europe. Under the former names Velocita Energy Developments and 2020 Renewables, Forsa developed a portfolio exceeding 1.4 GW and successfully financed and constructed approximately 230 MW of wind projects.

Following strategic divestments in 2017, the company rebranded as Forsa Energy and broadened its focus beyond onshore wind. Since then, Forsa has built a significant flexible generation business, developing, financing, and delivering twelve operational reserve‑gas sites totalling c.300 MW.

Forsa is now entering a new phase of growth, building a diversified portfolio of renewable generation assets. This strategy focuses on:

· Acquisition of operational wind and solar projects

· Acquisition and construction of ready‑to‑build (RtB) projects

· Development of new greenfield opportunities

The business plan targets a portfolio of 600 MW of wind and 1.5 GW of solar generation capacity. Forsa has also established both an in‑house trading function and an operations & maintenance division to support owned and third‑party assets.

Given this continued growth, Forsa is seeking an experienced Renewables Developer to progress renewable energy projects through the development life cycle.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Renewables Developer role will manage the development phase of wind and/or solar assets within Forsa’s portfolio. This role will include coordination of land, planning, grid and technical workstreams across the full project life cycle; from origination and acquisition, through development, to achieving shovel ready status.
