We are supporting a leading Edinburgh based organisation to hire a Digital Intelligence Manager to lead the optimisation, governance, and innovation of a SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environment, while spearheading the responsible adoption of AI technologies across the organisation.

The Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will act as the subject matter expert for SharePoint and AI-enabled tools, ensuring platforms are secure, efficient, and future-ready. You will work across teams to improve collaboration, introduce automation, and guide the rollout of tools like Microsoft Copilot.
In addition, you will play a key role in shaping AI governance, ensuring solutions are deployed responsibly, securely, and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint & Platform Management
- Administer SharePoint Online and site collections
- Design scalable site architecture, content structures, and navigation
- Optimise document libraries, metadata, and content management practices
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks and access controls
- Monitor permissions and prevent oversharing
- Partner with IT security to ensure compliance with best practices
Automation & Innovation
- Build workflows using Power Automate and related tools
- Implement automation for approvals, document handling, and integrations
- Deploy SharePoint apps and enhancements to improve productivity
AI Enablement
- Support rollout of Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven tools
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify business opportunities
- Promote responsible AI usage, including awareness of risks such as bias and data security
Training, Support & Oversight
- Deliver training to users and site owners
- Act as an escalation point for complex platform issues
- Monitor usage, audit environments and maintain documentation
- Conduct risk assessments on AI and digital tools
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience administering SharePoint Online
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture and Power Platform integration
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, PnP PowerShell)
- Understanding of governance frameworks, RBAC, and compliance
- Experience implementing or managing AI-enabled tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
