One of our clients is an early-stage nonprofit venture bridging profit-driven innovation with social impact models. Their mission is to build lean, scalable initiatives that balance compliance, credibility, and long-term impact. They are seeking a Liaison Officer to strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure transparent communication between leadership, partners, and funders.


Note: This is a voluntary role at the early stage of our nonprofit venture. We deeply value the contributions of professionals who join us in building credibility and impact from the ground up. As the organization secures grants and funding, there will be opportunities to transition into remunerated arrangements, reflecting the growth and sustainability of the venture.


Role Overview

We are seeking professionals to join as Liaison Officers, responsible for managing relationships with investors, donors, partners, and collaborators. The Liaison Officer will play a pivotal role in building trust, facilitating communication, and supporting leadership in stakeholder engagement. This role is designed for individuals who want to contribute expertise in relationship management while helping to build legacy-driven ventures.


Key Responsibilities


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear, timely communication of updates, reports, and initiatives.


Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with donors, investors, and partners.
  • Address queries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


Strategic Coordination

  • Support leadership in preparing stakeholder presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, briefings, and external interactions.


Information Flow

  • Ensure stakeholders are informed about progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collect and relay stakeholder feedback to leadership for decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in stakeholder relations, fundraising, investor relations, or corporate communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships with tact and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with funding, grants, or donor engagement preferred.
  • Commitment to fairness, transparency, and long-term impact.
