Location: ESS Physiotherapy, Earl Grey Street Clinic, EH3 9BN
Hours: Part-time and full-time opportunities available depending on the successful applicant (approximately 15–30 hours per week). Shifts will be scheduled within our clinic opening hours of 8:00am–8:00pm.
As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional clinic experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and excellent customer care
- Manage appointment bookings, incoming phone calls, emails, and online enquiries
- Coordinate appointment scheduling using clinic management software
- Support physiotherapists and clinicians to ensure efficient daily operations
- Process payments and assist with invoicing and insurance administration
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception and clinic environment
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous reception, front-of-house, or administrative experience (healthcare experience desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrates strong clerical and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Is comfortable with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Has strong typing and written communication skills
- Presents professionally and demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette
- Is proficient in Google Workspace applications
- Is confident using technology and booking systems (full training provided)
- Is reliable, approachable, and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
