We’re looking for Process Operator to join our production team and play a key role in creating some of the UK’s most loved biscuits. At FBC UK, we bring together iconic brands such as Maryland, Fox’s, Jammie Dodgers, and Rocky, alongside manufacturing partnerships with major retailers.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our bakery operations, where you’ll be involved in the full biscuit-making process—from mixing and moulding through to baking and finishing. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, take pride in quality, and are confident operating machinery while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

If you’re proactive, reliable, and ready to be part of a team passionate about delivering great products, this could be the opportunity for you.

Your Role in Creating Quality Bakes

  • Set up and operate equipment such as rotary moulders, ovens, and chocolate enrobers to produce biscuits to specification.
  • Check oven programmes, profiles, and recipe sheets to ensure correct production settings.
  • Prepare and manage ingredients using touchscreen systems in line with recipes.
  • Monitor products throughout the process, identifying and responding to any deviations from quality standards.
  • Adjust machinery as needed to maintain performance and product consistency, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Complete and maintain control sheets, ensuring colour and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across your work area, ensuring cleanliness of both equipment and environment.

The Key Ingredients

  • Previous experience in a production or bakery environment is beneficial but not essential (full training provided).
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills to follow processes and complete documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and use initiative when required.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 15kg.
  • Strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and quality standards within a food manufacturing setting.
  • Team-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Who Are We?

We are FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies! ……And we bake the UK's most incredible biscuits (we might be slightly biased, but we will leave that for you to judge).

FBC UK was a match made in heaven, with two of the top UK biscuits manufacturers (Burton's Biscuits and Fox's Biscuits) coming together to create one unique, integrated company. We are home to famous iconic brands, including Maryland, Fox's, Jammie Dodger & Rocky, to name just a few. We are proud manufacturing partners to some of the biggest UK retailers and household names.
