Due to continued growth and expansion of their team a leading financial advice firm with an office in Edinburgh are recruiting for a paraplanner or senior paraplanner. Ideally experienced with diploma minimum, but for the right individual they could also develop them internally. In addition they are offering very flexible hybrid working, exam support and excellent benefits.

Primary duties include but not limited to:

• Attend client meetings as required alongside Financial Planners and Directors
• Communicating with clients in the absence of the adviser
• Providing technical support
• Research and preparation of client advice in conjunction with Financial Planners and Directors
• Preparation of client reports / suitability letters
• Supporting advisers with client and product research as required
• Researching due diligence on the market & negotiating with product suppliers for the best possible rates
• Processing new business applications
• Preparing client packs and paperwork prior to meetings
• Developing and maintaining client contact and relationships
• Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information, maintenance of client files
• Ensuring advice provided is compliant and meets with regulatory requirements
• Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation

To be considered you'll be experienced paraplanner, or developing who is working within an adviser's office or provider. Strong back office systems and platforms experience is also vital along with excellent report writing skills.
