Accounts Payable Assistant

• Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Reed Accountancy are working with a close client of ours who are seeking an experienced accounts payable professional. Joining an established team, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining the purchase ledger function and wider duties.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices
• Processing company expenses
• Reconciling credit cards and accounts
• Processing credit card transactions
• Preparing weekly supplier payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Uploading internal recharges
• Maintaining vendor accounts and records
• Performing ad hoc duties as and when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar accounts payable role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
