Description
- Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Responsible for grant reporting and internal grant allocation
- Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide insights to support organisational decision-making.
- Maintain and improve financial policies, systems, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
- Handle audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Support grant management processes, including financial tracking and reporting.
- Provide financial advice to leadership to aid strategic planning.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional Accountancy qualification, eg ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, etc
- Proven experience in financial management within the Not For Profit or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting standards.
- Understanding of Grant Funded organisations
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, XERO would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Job Offer
- Daily rate between £270 and £330, depending on experience.
