Are you a mechanically minded engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving reliability, and keeping production moving? As a Mechanical Engineer at our Edinburgh bakery, you'll play a vital role in supporting the performance of our manufacturing operation, helping to ensure our world-famous biscuits continue to reach customers across the UK.

Working within a skilled and collaborative engineering team, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where no two days are the same. From maintaining cutting-edge production equipment to supporting continuous improvement projects and enhancing plant reliability, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference every day.

Working on a rotating continental-style shift pattern, you'll alternate between 12-hour day shifts (6:00am–6:00pm) and night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am). You'll work an average of 42 hours per week while benefiting from 14 days off every 28-day cycle, providing regular extended breaks and supporting a strong work-life balance alongside a rewarding engineering career.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in its people, technology, and facilities. You'll benefit from varied technical challenges, ongoing development opportunities, and the chance to build your career with one of the UK's leading biscuit manufacturers.
