About the Role:

Harvey Nash's Pub Sec client require a Project Manager to work on the ongoing Correspondence Management System (CMS) project within the Correspondence Improvement Project (CIP). CIP aims to modernise and improve the way correspondence is managed across SG and partner organisations. A key outcome of this project is to support more consistent processes, improved transparency and reporting, and a more sustainable service model for handling correspondence, including FOIs, Parliamentary Questions and Ministerial and general correspondence.

  • Provide leadership on all workstream deliverables to encourage collaboration so that all parties are open about the state of the services, the project deliveries, and are realistic about timetables and benefits
  • Work directly with all stakeholders to build engagement and ensure high levels of adoption and utilisation of the project deliverables.
  • Provide day to day management of the Project(s), project plan, finances, risk and resources
  • Proactively produce and manage project plans for the sub workstreams.
  • Manage dependencies with other major projects
  • Represent Director into the wider Corporate Functions, ensuring the correct visibility and escalation of issues
  • Represent the project to relevant Customer and User Groups involved in implementation



Essential Skills & Experience:

  • You will have operated at senior levels and have extensive experience of preparing and delivering Cloud based SaaS transformation along with Corporate Function process, customer, service management and business improvement strategies.
  • Strong experience of project planning and of driving delivery from initiation to execution to transition, especially around integration, data and business change
  • Hands on experience of planning complex implementations and taking ownership for their delivery in line with Programme Milestones
  • Previous experience operating in a large fragmented business managing complex implementation processes with several stakeholders
  • Experience in the management of stakeholders at all levels in a public sector environment is also essential
