Continence Nurse Advisor
Territory: East Central Belt of Scotland
Including Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian & West Lothian
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Registered Nurse/RN/RGN/RM/RSCN/RNLD/Staff Nurse/Nurse Advisor to join our client as a Continence Nurse Advisor. You will be providing training on a range of continence and disposable hygiene products to NHS & Private Healthcare Practitioners in Hospitals and the Community. You’ll work closely with Continence Nurse Specialists, District Nurses, and Nurses and HCAs in Hospitals, the Community and Nursing Homes and Care Homes. You’ll be responsible for running Implementation Training Programmes and refresher updates delivering classroom and ward-based presentations. And you’ll meet regularly with Account key stakeholders including the Continence Nurse Team

Key Responsibilities in this Continence Nurse Advisor role;
- Training Healthcare Professionals on a range of disposable continence products and cleaning solutions in Hospitals and the Community and Residential Care Homes
- Providing clinical support following contract wins to NHS Trusts and Health Boards
- Attending Continence Exhibitions
- Working in close partnership with your Sales colleagues to ensure Account success
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse/RN/RM/RSCN/RNLD/Staff Nurse to specialise in continence care. Your experience may include being a Nurse Advisor within the healthcare industry, or working as a Community Nurse, Complex Care Nurse or District Nurse. Or you may be a Nurse with a background in Care of the Elderly, Urology, MS, Neurology or any field where continence care is part of the daily routine.
To be considered for this important role you will be a Registered Nurse with the following;
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)/RN/RGN or an RM, RSCN or RNLD with considerable adult continence experience
- Previous experience as a Nurse Advisor may be a benefit though not essential
- Commercially aware
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others & Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
