My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. Benefits and salary of a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester / Remedial engineer :-

• 40k basic salary
• Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day and remedial works – 8-9k on top

They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester you will be:-

• Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties (80%)
• Doing small EICR remedial works (20%)
• Covering around a lot across central belt Scotland with other work further north
• Potentially working away 5-10 days per month
• Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets

Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester :-

• Living anywhere in or around the central belt of Scotland but closet to Glasgow would be beneficial
• 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
• Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
• Good experience doing fixed wire testing and EICR remedial works
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
