I'm working with a leading Scottish law firm that's looking to add an AML Analyst to its growing Risk & Compliance team in Edinburgh.
If you have experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Client Due Diligence (CDD), sanctions screening, source of funds, or legal compliance, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected firm with a supportive team and genuine career development
The role?
Reviewing Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation
Conducting AML, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks
Reviewing incoming client funds and source of funds queries
Advising fee earners on AML regulations and internal policies
Supporting client and matter risk assessments
Helping maintain compliance with UK AML Regulations and internal procedures
Escalating unusual activity where appropriate
About you?
Experience in AML, Risk & Compliance or Financial Crime
A background in a law firm, banking or financial services environment (preferred but not essential)
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
The confidence to challenge where required and build relationships with stakeholders
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in Legal Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, or Risk & Compliance within a well-established firm.
