A Finance Administrator in Edinburgh is needed to support the day-to-day financial operations within the retail industry. You'll help the business run smoothly by managing administrative tasks and ensuring financial accuracy

Description

• Proactive credit control of overdue accounts, candidates must have excellent telephone manner.
• Ensure all customers are trading to terms and within the limits of Dole credit insurance.
• Raising Credit Notes.
• Manage accounts on 'stop'.
• Responding to inbound customer queries by phone and email.
• Post daily Cash receipts.
• Setting up new accounts.
• Taking Card payments on site.
• Manage daily cash receipts/petty cash - cash handling.
• Liaise with HO Credit Control Dept for National Accounts
• Assist in production of weekly & monthly sales ledger reports for key customers.

Profile

A successful Finance Administrator should have:

• Experience in an administrative or financial role, ideally within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• A basic understanding of financial processes and terminology.

Job Offer

Days - negotiable (Mon-Fri), min 4 days.

Hours - 30 hours per week, negotiable, between 8am and 5pm

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

You must have a sound knowledge of credit control with at least 2 years' experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
