Internal Account Manager - Edinburgh - £28,500 + Annual Bonus | Permanent

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join a successful and well-established global business based in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with experience in B2B sales, internal sales, account management or customer service who enjoys developing customer relationships while proactively identifying new sales opportunities.

The role combines account management, outbound sales and customer service, making it ideal for someone confident communicating with customers and motivated by developing accounts and increasing sales.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an Internal Sales Executive, Account Executive or Customer Account Manager.

Rates of Pay:

• £28,500 per annum
• Annual bonus scheme

Shift Pattern:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an Internal Account Manager are:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Proactively contacting existing, new and lapsed customers
• Making outbound calls to generate sales opportunities
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships
• Supporting the external sales team
• Identifying repeat-order, upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Providing quotations and product information
• Following up customer enquiries and sales opportunities
• Supporting customer queries by telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate CRM and sales records
• Using reports and sales data to identify opportunities for account growth

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Internal Account Manager, you will need:

• Previous experience within B2B sales, internal sales, account management or customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence carrying out outbound and proactive sales activity
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and results-driven approach
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and adaptable approach

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience within the cleaning, hygiene, janitorial or facilities management industry would be advantageous but is not essential
