Take ownership of business development across a portfolio of Edinburgh's most sought-after premium hospitality venues, building relationships, winning new business and driving high-value events, experiences and corporate partnerships, all supported by a dedicated inbound reservations team.

Description

You'll be working across a portfolio that includes:


  • One of Edinburgh's leading premium steak restaurants, renowned for exceptional Scottish produce and award-winning dining experiences.
  • A landmark rooftop destination offering spectacular castle views, private event spaces, live entertainment and one of Scotland's most celebrated craft beer experiences.
  • A collection of highly regarded hospitality venues and event spaces that attract corporate clients and local businesses alike.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new corporate, private and event business through outbound sales activity.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers across corporate, conference and event sectors.
  • Identify opportunities for exclusive hires, corporate entertainment, networking events, product launches, Christmas parties and large-scale celebrations.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Conduct venue showcases, familiarisation visits and networking activity.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, venue management and the reservations team to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
  • Deliver against revenue and profitability targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.


Profile

We're looking for someone who brings:


  • Proven success in business development, sales or events sales.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, experiences and relationship-building.
  • A track record of generating revenue through proactive outbound activity.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Excellent networking and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivation, resilience and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience within hospitality, events, hotels, leisure or related sectors, ideally with a network/contact base they could lean on.


Job Offer

  • Salary between £40-45,000 dependent on the level of experience.
