Reed Education is delighted to be recruiting for a full-time Lead Practitioner to join a highly regarded UK curriculum Early Years setting based in Cyprus to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, qualified Early Years practitioner who thrives in child-centred environments and is committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences for young children.

Set within a purpose-built Early Years environment, the setting places children at the heart of everything it does, promoting curiosity, independence, confidence and a love of learning through play-based experiences, outdoor exploration, and high-quality interactions. The setting prides itself on creating a welcoming "home from home" atmosphere where every child is encouraged to flourish.

The Role

As Lead Practitioner, you will play a key role in leading a class, supporting colleagues, and helping to maintain exceptional standards of teaching and learning throughout the setting.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a class and providing high-quality Early Years education and care
  • Creating engaging and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors
  • Supporting children's development through child-led learning and play-based experiences
  • Planning and delivering enriching activities that ignite curiosity, creativity and independence
  • Acting as a role model for best practice within the setting
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Supporting children's emotional wellbeing, confidence and personal development
  • Contributing to a nurturing, inclusive and child-centred learning environment

What We're Looking For

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • A recognised Early Years qualification
  • Strong experience working within Early Years settings
  • Previous experience leading a class or taking on leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent knowledge of infant care and child development
  • A genuine passion for outdoor learning and nature-based experiences
  • A child-centred approach to education
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for young children
  • Experience supporting learning through play and exploration
