Facilities Team Member - #2140400

Randstad are currently recruiting for a Facilities Team Member to join the team a residential building in Edinburgh.

Shift: Monday to Friday

Salary: £27.500 per annum

Description:

• Carry out day-to-day general DIY and reactive repairs across student bedrooms, shared kitchens, and common areas (e.g., furniture repair, basic plumbing, unblocking drains, lighting replacements, and plaster patching).

• Log, track, and complete reactive maintenance work orders electronically via mobile device/PDA ticketing systems.

• Execute room turn-around maintenance between academic terms, completing room fault checks, repair work, and pre-arrival preparations.

• Maintain exterior grounds, refuse areas, bike storage, and communal amenities to ensure clean, functional, and safe environments.

• Escort, supervise, and issue permits for external contractors working on-site to ensure full safety compliance.

• Respond promptly to emergency building callouts (e.g., active water leaks, power failures, or door access malfunctions).
