Police Scotland’s Digital Division are looking to recruit an ICT Project Manager to take the lead on major ICT projects.

The ICT Project Manager will ensure that ICT Projects deliver solutions that meet the defined business requirements, within the required timescales and defined budget, while fulfilling the business expectations in relation to quality.

As part of the team working in the Digital Division, you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of technology to our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.

Please Note - this is a fixed term contract for 18 months

Key Responsibilities -

  • Manage a range of ICT projects commissioned by Police Scotland or the SPA, ensuring that projects are appropriately scoped, resource requirements are forecast and work plans are produced / revised as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with the ICT Skills Demand Manager and other ICT managers/supervisors in identifying the resource requirements, and to assign / delegate day to day individual responsibilities to project team members to ensure delivery in line with time, quality, and cost measures.
  • Effectively apply programme and/or project governance standards, practices, and procedures to ensure successful project delivery.
