Operations Analyst - Closures Team

Location: Edinburgh, Teviot House, 41 South Gyle Crescent, EH12 9ZA

Start Date: October 2026

Pay Rate: £14.40 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Contract: Initial 6-month contract with potential opportunities for extension and progression

Hybrid Working: Following training, 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lloyds Banking Group's Closures Team as an Operations Analyst based in Edinburgh.

This role sits within a specialist operational team responsible for managing account closure activities, investigating complex cases, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting innovative technology-driven processes.

You'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer outcomes while working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are highly valued. The position also offers exposure to AI-enabled processes and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Operations Analyst, you will:

  • Process account closures and associated administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Investigate and resolve complex customer and operational cases, ensuring appropriate outcomes are achieved.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and analyse outcomes to maintain high operational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and support AI-driven robotic processes, identifying issues and escalating where necessary.
  • Analyse information from multiple sources to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes, increase efficiency, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance.
