Description

The Real Estate Renewables Solicitor will be:

• Advising clients on the property aspects of renewable energy projects including wind, solar, battery storage and hydro developments.
• Negotiating and drafting a variety of agreements relating to renewable energy schemes and associated land rights.
• Supporting clients on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing transactions and compulsory purchase matters.
• Building and maintaining trusted client relationships, acting as a key adviser on strategic land and property issues.
• Working closely with colleagues across multiple legal disciplines to deliver integrated and commercially focused advice.

Profile

The Real Estate Renewables Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' PQE within real estate or renewables law.
• Experienced in the Scottish property aspects of renewable energy projects.
• Commercially aware with strong technical property law expertise.
• Confident managing a varied caseload and working with a degree of autonomy.
• A strong communicator with excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive and confidential matters.
• Interested in developing specialist expertise within the renewables sector and progressing their long-term career.
