FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join a leading Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Edinburgh and the East of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served plumber with a strong background in commercial maintenance and Facilities Management who is looking for a long-term position with an established business.

The Role

Working as part of the mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across a variety of commercial properties.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
• Fault finding and repairing plumbing systems
• Maintenance and repair of taps, toilets, sinks, showers and sanitary ware
• Working on pipework, valves, pumps and associated systems
• Investigating and repairing leaks
• Completing minor installations and remedial works
• Carrying out PPM tasks across client sites
• Responding to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required
• Completing job sheets and updating maintenance systems
• Liaising with clients and providing a professional service on site
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served / qualified Plumber
• Strong commercial plumbing and maintenance experience
• Previous experience within FM, Building Services or commercial maintenance would be highly advantageous
• Confident working independently across multiple client sites
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills

Salary up to £40,000 DOE

Commercial FM contracts
37 hour contract (1pm finish every Friday)
