1st Line IT Support Technician
Salary : £21K - £23K
Full time on site Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated 1st Line Support Technician to join a successful team for a well established MSP. This is a high-paced team and you should be used to dealing with multiple end-user clients  and varying priorities on a daily basis.
 
This will be a full-time, permanent position at a competitive salary based on proven track record, experience, and technical competence.

Your role will involve assisting the support desk with answering calls and live chats, entering ticket notes accurately, resolving 1st Line type issues, dealing with client problems, ensuring relevant tickets are escalated, and creatively delivering excellent service to our varied client base. 
 
The skill set is primarily around the Microsoft ecosystem, both locally on desktops and servers, as well as within the Microsoft 365 and Azure environment. You should be comfortable supporting end-users within at least some of this environment, and having experience in basic network troubleshooting.
 
This role would ideally suit someone who has recently successfully completed a Modern Apprenticeship in IT Support, or has over a years' relevant work experience in the IT industry, and is now looking to expand into a challenging yet rewarding role within a busy and supportive team. Applicants with prior experience working in an MSP environment preferred. 
 
You will need to be hard working, have great attention to detail, work to deadlines, be very well organised and have a real interest in technology with proven troubleshooting abilities. 
 
This will be an office-based role at our client's Edinburgh City Centre office, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Committed to providing a flexible and caring work environment you will be supported with 12 "at home" dedicated training days a year and 6 charity days as well.
