Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a renowned and close client of ours who are seeking an Accounts Assistant on a short-term, rolling contract. Joining a growing team on an interim basis, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining their day-to-day financial operations.

Due to the contract nature of this role, this would suit a candidate with an immediate or short notice.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintaining purchase ledger function
• Processing company invoices and credit notes
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Supporting payment runs
• Performing credit control duties
• Preparing accounts receivable and debt reports
• Performing daily banking duties
• Processing payments and receipts
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Preparing and assisting in month end processes
• Liaising with stakeholders around queries

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar accounting role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
