Key duties and responsibilities:

Your duties as the Senior Scientist / Associate Principal Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Deliver Biophysics and Protein Science projects, generating high-quality data and insights.
2. Lead small-to-medium client projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to support project goals.
4. Occasionally travel, including visits to the Chapel-en-le-Frith site.

Skills and experience:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Scientist / Associate Principal Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field (PhD preferred or equivalent experience).
2. Proven industry experience in Biophysical techniques and Protein Production.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with leading scientific projects and making recommendations for capability development.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior scientists is desirable.
