Recruitment Advisor

Location: Edinburgh EH7 & EH11
Working pattern: Hybrid
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with flexible working between 8am–5pm
Contract: Temporary until April 2027
Pay Rate: £18.34 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with recruitment experience and strong communication skills who enjoys working with applicants, managers and HR teams to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and effectively.


The Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for:

• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
• Setting up and managing vacancies.
• Sifting applications and arranging interviews.
• Participating in interviews.
• Meeting applicants and completing pre-employment checks, including:
  
  • Right to Work checks
  • PVG checks
  • Other required pre-employment checks
• Liaising with HR and managers to arrange appropriate start dates and onboarding arrangements.
• Attending recruitment events and supporting recruitment activity.
• Providing effective business support to the wider team.

The Recruitment Advisor will have:

• Previous recruitment experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach.
• The ability to manage recruitment activity from vacancy through to appointment.
• Experience of process improvement would be desirable.

You will be confident working with a range of people, able to manage competing priorities and committed to providing a positive experience for applicants and hiring managers.
