Keeping a busy manufacturing operation moving takes more than fixing faults when they happen, it means finding the cause, improving reliability and preventing the same problems coming back. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll have a hands-on role maintaining production equipment across a busy extrusion operation, combining electrical and mechanical expertise to keep performance on track.

Based in Newbridge, you will be working closely with production and quality teams, you'll respond to breakdowns, complete planned maintenance and contribute to improvements that increase equipment reliability, output and product quality. It's a permanent opportunity with a strong package and further training and development available.

Your responsibilities as Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults to minimise production downtime
• Complete planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Work alongside production and quality teams to support output and product quality
• Diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Support commissioning and continuous improvement activities where required

What we’re looking for in a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification
• Practical electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems, alongside hydraulic knowledge
• A sound understanding of health and safety requirements within manufacturing
• PLC, machinery commissioning or continuous improvement experience would be advantageous

Working hours: 12-hour day and night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.
