Ready to take the lead on sales within Edinburgh’s vibrant hospitality scene?

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Sales Manager to join a hospitality business in Edinburgh. This permanent opportunity will see you drive sales growth, and build strong relationships with corporate, tourist and local audiences across a diverse restaurant, retail, live music and events offering.

If you combine a passion for hospitality with a natural flair for sales, fresh ideas and a guest-first approach, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What you will get in your new role

  • Salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • 45hrs per week
  • Monday - Friday (occasional weekends)
  • Bonus Scheme
  • 20% off food and retail
  • Discounts at group hotels worldwide

Responsibilities in your new role as a Sales Manager

In this role, you’ll combine commercial awareness, sales expertise and strong leadership to support the continued growth and success of the business. You’ll manage marketing expenditure in line with budgets and forecasts, while developing and delivering creative marketing initiatives and sales strategies designed to drive consistent year-on-year growth. Working across a diverse offering spanning restaurant, retail, live music and special events, you’ll create campaigns that engage corporate, tourist and local audiences, while planning and delivering memorable meetings and events that exceed client expectations.

You’ll champion a guest-first approach, ensuring service standards consistently meet or exceed brand expectations and working collaboratively across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll also play an important role in developing the wider team, supporting senior management with attracting and retaining talented people, setting performance goals, coaching employees and delivering development programmes that encourage career progression, continuous improvement and employee retention.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You’ll have previous hospitality experience alongside a genuine passion and natural ability for sales. You’ll be commercially minded, quick to learn and confident bringing fresh, creative ideas to the team, with the ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you’ll need to communicate complex information clearly and confidently with customers, clients, partners, media and colleagues in both one-to-one and group settings. You’ll be comfortable delivering presentations and pitches to a range of audiences, with a professional and engaging communication style.

Fluency in English is essential, while additional language skills would be advantageous.
