Your new companyA leading housing association based in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Interim HR Change Specialist to support a significant period of organisational change. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong change management, employee relations, and stakeholder engagement experience to make an immediate impact within a values-driven organisation.
Your new roleReporting into the senior HR leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting the people aspects of organisational change programmes and technology projects. Working closely with leaders, managers, employees, and Trade Union representatives, you will help ensure change initiatives are delivered effectively, compliantly, and with a strong focus on employee engagement.Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and delivering people impact assessments associated with organisational change initiatives.
- Developing and implementing clear and effective employee communications throughout change programmes.
- Facilitating consultation processes and supporting formal consultation forums.
- Building positive relationships with Trade Union representatives and employee stakeholders.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance on organisational change, restructuring, and workforce implications.
- Supporting managers through change activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
- Contributing to the development of change documentation, presentations, briefings, and employee engagement materials.
- Monitoring risks and helping to mitigate employee relations issues throughout the change process.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience delivering HR change and transformation projects, ideally in technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of consultation processes, organisational change, and employment legislation.
- Experience undertaking people impact assessments and supporting business change programmes.
- Excellent employee relations experience, including working directly with Trade Unions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience is desirable.
