About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Property Graduate to join our fast growing national retail business. Based at our Edinburgh Head Office, this is a high exposure role offering hands on experience across our nationwide property portfolio and continued store expansion.

You will gain broad commercial property experience across new store projects, portfolio management, property analysis and external stakeholder relationships, with increasing responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of projects as you develop.

Key Responsibilities

New Store Projects: Support new store openings from initial property assessment through to fit out, snagging and handover, coordinating contractors, suppliers, surveys and key project milestones.

Property & Expansion: Assist with property viewings, site assessments, competitor and demographic research, property due diligence and identifying future expansion opportunities.

Portfolio Management: Support the day to day management of our nationwide property portfolio, maintaining key property trackers and documentation while assisting with lease events, negotiations, landlord matters and ongoing property requirements.

Relationships & Networks: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, commercial property agents and landlords, while developing a growing network of trusted property contacts across the UK.

Commercial Analysis: Research property markets, comparable rents and potential locations, producing analysis and recommendations to support commercial and management decisions.

Project Coordination: Maintain project management systems and workflows, obtain and compare quotations, monitor deadlines and actions, and work across internal teams to ensure projects and property works are delivered effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Commercial Mindset: Commercially aware and able to consider the wider business impact when assessing property opportunities, costs and potential risks.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical ability with excellent attention to detail and the ability to research information, identify key findings and form well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Communication: A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and working with landlords, agents, contractors, suppliers and colleagues across different areas of the business.
  • Drive: Proactive, naturally curious and keen to take ownership, with the ambition to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility within the Property team.

You will also receive a 25-50% discount on products in store, and access to ever expanding staff incentives and bonuses.

Please ensure you apply with an up-to-date CV.
