Assistant Manager - #2158728
AMS Group
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to join our outsourced accounting practice as we work towards building the best outsourced accounting service in the UK. In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of client portfolios, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of bookkeeping, management accounts, and financial reporting services. You will work closely with senior management to oversee a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, acting as a key point of contact for client queries and helping to maintain strong, long-term relationships. A solid grounding in accounting principles and experience working within a practice environment are essential.
As Assistant Manager, you will also play an important role in supervising and developing the junior and offshore members of the team, reviewing their work and providing guidance to maintain the high standards our clients expect. You will contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping to streamline workflows and leverage cloud-based accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional — ideally part-qualified or fully qualified (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) — looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and growing practice.
