Role Description The Financial Analyst role at The Bear Minimum is a part-time, hybrid position based in Edinburgh, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial markets and company performance, reviewing financial statements, and supporting the development of valuation and strategy insights for publication. The analyst will contribute to clear written analysis, prepare concise financial summaries, and collaborate with editors and writers to ensure accuracy and clarity. Additional tasks may involve assisting with financial planning for internal projects, supporting data-driven editorial decisions, and presenting findings in a format suitable for a broad audience interested in finance and business.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in finance and financial concepts.
- Knowledge of financial planning and the ability to support budgeting or forecasting activities.

- Experience or familiarity with financial reporting, including summarizing and communicating financial data clearly.
