AMS is a global workforce solutions partner committed to creating inclusive, dynamic, and future-ready workplaces. We help organisations adapt, grow, and thrive in an ever-evolving world by building, shaping, and optimising diverse talent strategies.

We partner with NatWest to deliver their contingent recruitment processes. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.

On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for aProject Analyst for a 3 month contract based in Edinburgh or Manchester. Hybrid, with 1 day per week required on-site.

Purpose of the role

We're looking for an experienced Project Analyst to join a Transformation team supporting a varied portfolio of change activity. Rather than focusing on one large programme, you'll work across different initiatives, helping to shape requirements, mobilise and manage workstreams, develop operating models and turn plans into practical implementation activity.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to bring structure to change, translate requirements into deliverable workstreams and help move initiatives from initial definition through to implementation.

What you'll do

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements across a range of transformation initiatives.
  • Translate requirements into clear workstreams, deliverables and practical implementation plans.
  • Support the design and development of operating models and future ways of working.
  • Mobilise new workstreams, establishing scope, activities, milestones and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate workstreams through delivery, tracking progress and resolving issues or dependencies.
  • Work across business areas and teams to ensure requirements are understood and translated into achievable outcomes.
  • Support implementation planning and readiness activity to help changes land successfully.
  • Maintain appropriate project controls, risks, issues and dependencies to support effective delivery.
  • Provide clear progress updates and insight to Project Managers and senior stakeholders.

The Skills you'll need

  • Around 5+ years' experience working across project, change or transformation environments.
  • Strong requirements gathering and requirements writing experience.
  • Experience supporting or delivering operating model / future-state design activity.
  • Strong implementation planning and delivery experience.
  • Experience mobilising and managing project workstreams.
  • Ability to take requirements and translate them into structured, deliverable pieces of work.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work across multiple business areas.
  • Good understanding of project delivery, including risks, dependencies, milestones and governance.
  • Comfortable working across multiple pieces of change at the same time.
  • Experience with project planning tools would be beneficial but is not essential.

Why NatWest

There are plenty of reasons why NatWest is a great place to work in a temporary job; they are becoming a simpler Bank, which is more integrated and technology driven. You'll be helping to build a sustainable bank, committed to helping customers to succeed.

We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella engagement model.
