About Caledonia Group

At Caledonia Group, we believe the best way to learn about business is through practical, hands-on experience.

We’re looking for motivated, confident and ambitious individuals to join our Edinburgh team and develop their skills in customer engagement, sales and commercial development.

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a target-driven environment and is keen to build a long-term career. No previous industry experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

The Role

As an Entry-Level Executive, you’ll gain first-hand experience working on customer-facing campaigns, representing established brands and helping drive customer acquisition.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers face to face and building positive relationships.
  • Identifying customer needs and communicating relevant products and services.
  • Representing established brands in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Supporting customer acquisition and commercial campaigns.
  • Working towards individual and team performance targets.
  • Monitoring your progress and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This is a role where your contribution matters. You’ll have clear objectives, opportunities to measure your progress and the chance to develop through practical experience.

Training & Career Development

You don’t need previous sales experience to get started. We provide structured training and ongoing support to help you build a strong foundation in commercial development.

Your training will cover:

  • Customer engagement and professional communication.
  • Sales techniques and customer acquisition.
  • Product knowledge and campaign delivery.
  • Customer service and relationship building.
  • Goal setting, target management and performance development.
  • Professional skills and commercial awareness.

As you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities, you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and progress towards a Sales Executive position.

For those interested in developing their leadership skills, further opportunities may also be available to gain experience in mentoring, coaching and team development.

At Caledonia Group, we encourage individuals to build their skills, explore their strengths and work towards their own career ambitions.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re interested in people who are:

  • Confident communicators who enjoy meeting and working with different people.
  • Ambitious, motivated and eager to achieve measurable results.
  • Open to feedback and willing to learn new skills.
  • Professional, reliable and well organised.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Interested in developing their sales, commercial and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to work full-time on-site in Edinburgh.

Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, events or customer service can be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
