More about your role

As a Community Housing Manager, you'll deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a regional patch, taking ownership of tenancy and neighbourhood issues and finding practical solutions for our customers. You'll regularly inspect communal areas, manage cases of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, support customers to sustain their tenancies and help ensure our communities remain safe and well maintained. You'll also oversee service charge budgets for the schemes you manage, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and identify and support vulnerable customers through our safeguarding procedures.

This is a full time, fixed term role to the end of April 2027.

Essential criteria

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Community Housing Manager experience in a social housing environment
  • Experience delivering housing, tenancy or neighbourhood management services within a customer-focused organisation.
  • Experience managing housing-related issues such as anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, safeguarding or tenancy sustainment.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable customers
  • A valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle

More about you

You'll have a strong understanding of the issues that can affect customers and their tenancies, including safeguarding and the needs of vulnerable customers. You'll be comfortable taking ownership of cases, using your initiative to solve problems and working with a diverse range of people.

A basic DBS check is required for this role.
