City: Edinburgh
Contract type: Full time
CreateFuture is an AI-native consulting partner where people do work that matters and are supported to do it well. We work alongside organisations such as PayPal, adidas, NatWest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert, building digital products and services that make a difference while always putting people first.
We’re a team of creators. We write code, shape delivery, build go-to-market strategies, develop AI solutions and create the practices that support our people. We work side by side with our clients, challenging what’s not working and helping them to build the future. Our commitment to craft, quality, and culture has helped us scale to over 600 people in just a few years.
Our UK Benefits
CreateFuture is a Great Place to Work-Certified company and has won Best Workplaces UK multiple years in a row.
Join us on our journey. Let’s create tomorrow, together, today.
About The Role And Team
This is a client-facing role. You own a strategy or transformation workstream end to end, usually within a larger engagement led by a Lead or Principal. You shape the research, frame the problem, facilitate the sessions and build the recommendations, then help the client act on them.
You work with CreateFuture's complementary disciplines (Strategy, Design, Product, AI Engineering and Data) alongside the client's own teams, often embedded with them. You are accountable for the quality and commercial relevance of what your workstream delivers, not the volume of it.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose and design
We trust people to do their best work. That means flexibility over rigid rules, impact over activity, and real investment in your growth both professionally and personally. You’ll be part of a supportive, and friendly culture, surrounded by smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do.
We offer flexible working, including hybrid and remote options. Our office hubs are located in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London and Bulgaria, with occasional travel to client sites or CreateFuture offices when needed.
We trust you to manage your time balancing collaboration with client time and focused work. What matters is the impact you have, not how busy you look.
Our hiring process
We try to keep our hiring process clear, fair and respectful of your time. We aim to get back to everyone who applies and we will be upfront about where you are in the process.
It Usually Looks Like This
Inclusion at CreateFuture
We believe diverse teams build better workplaces and better products. We want CreateFuture to be a place where people feel able to be themselves and do their best work.

What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose and design
- Shape the research brief and methodology with minimal support, choosing the right tools and research partners
- Lead qualitative research end to end, design and analyse quantitative research, and mine client and market data for insight - often working with specialist research partners
- Frame ambiguous problems cleanly and guide others through structured analysis to evidence-backed answers
- Question whether the stated problem is the right one, and reframe it when it is not
- Build evidence-backed propositions and strategic directions, drawing on cultural and industry trends
- Diagnose how the organisation needs to change across People, Process, Platforms and Products within your workstream
- Design initiatives that are practical, scoped, sequenced and executable
- Frame each challenge in commercial terms: the cost of standing still, the value at stake and the measurable outcome
- Build the case for a value slice the client can see within 90 days
- Manage timelines, budget and stakeholder expectations for your workstream
- Design and run small to medium workshops, choosing the frameworks that move the group forward
- Present complex ideas to senior client stakeholders, keep them engaged and handle difficult questions well
- Shape a compelling narrative for your workstream and hold every deliverable to a high standard
- Use AI tools (LLMs, synthesis agents, automated research) to compress discovery and free time for deeper thinking
- Lead pilots that apply AI to strategy and transformation work, and share what holds up
- Help clients decide where to automate, augment, orchestrate or stay human
- Model and coach the responsible, secure use of AI, especially client data privacy and bias in LLM output
- Coordinate project teams, give constructive feedback and support the development of junior colleagues
- Update shared frameworks and document case studies and outcomes so the practice gets sharper
- Spot emerging client needs and bring them to your Lead, helping position the team for what comes next
- Contribute to proposals where your delivery experience strengthens them
- Experience in a strategy consultancy, digital agency, transformation practice or in-house strategy function, owning workstreams from brief to recommendation
- Hands-on qualitative and quantitative research and synthesis
- Experience contributing to new propositions, services or business models, or to organisational and digital change
- Practical use of AI tools to speed up research, analysis and hypothesis testing
- Confident workshop facilitation and presentation to senior stakeholders
- A structured, diagnostic thinker who is comfortable in ambiguity and helps others find their footing in it
- Credible with senior client stakeholders and able to build trust across a mixed team
- Commercially aware, framing your work in terms of value the client can measure
- AI-literate and deliberate about where AI helps and where it does not
- Motivated to grow across both strategy and transformation craft
- A deck producer who stops at the recommendation
- An order-taker who responds only to defined requirements
- Someone who applies a method regardless of whether it fits
