Reception Team Leader – Corporate Front of House

Edinburgh City Centre | £33,000 per annum | Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (shift rota between 7am and 8pm)

Troika Recruitment is working with a leading provider of corporate front-of-house services. They're looking for an outstanding Reception Team Leader to head up the guest experience at a prestigious professional services headquarters in central Edinburgh.

This role is for someone who has led a team in a genuinely 5-star environment and wants to bring those standards to a corporate setting. That could be a luxury hotel, a private members' club, a premium airline lounge or an executive front-of-house team. You'll be the face of the reception operation and the main point of contact for the client. Every guest should leave with the impression that they were expected and looked after from the moment they arrived.

The Role

• Lead, motivate and develop a small, highly polished reception team
• Set the standard every day by leading from the front on the desk
• Act as the key point of contact for the client and the Account Manager
• Greet, host and escort senior guests and visitors with warmth and discretion
• Oversee meeting room bookings, refreshments, catering and AV so every meeting runs smoothly
• Prepare team rotas and support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and HR processes
• Spot opportunities to raise the guest experience and improve ways of working
• Step in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly

About You

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality, private members' club, premium airline or high-end corporate front-of-house environment (essential)
• Immaculate presentation, exceptional communication and natural gravitas with senior stakeholders
• A real eye for detail and refusal to compromise on standards
• Calm, proactive and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
• Confident developing and coaching others
• Takes ownership and goes the extra mile without being asked
