City: Edinburgh
Contract type: Full time
Inserta

TERRITORY SALES MANAGER · DENTAL IMPLANTS · SCOTLAND

Scotland · Field Based · Permanent, Full-Time

A territory to build, not simply a portfolio to maintain.

Inserta is continuing its growth across the UK and is looking for an experienced dental implant sales professional to develop its presence across Scotland.

This is an opportunity for someone who already understands the implant market, knows how dental practices and implant clinicians operate, and has a proven track record of developing new business within the sector.

You will have real autonomy over your territory and real responsibility for its commercial development.

Location: Flexible within Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for a defined Scottish territory and must be comfortable travelling regularly throughout the region.

Industry experience: Previous commercial experience within the dental implant industry is essential for this position.

PACKAGE

We offer a competitive package including a company car, a strong basic salary reflecting experience and proven capability, an uncapped commission structure, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing international business.

As Inserta continues to grow, so will the opportunities for those who grow with us.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Inserta is one of Europe’s most exciting emerging dental implant companies, with an ambitious international growth strategy and a clear vision for the future of implant dentistry.

Following its successful development in the UK and continued international expansion, Inserta is now looking to strengthen its presence across Scotland.

Increasing numbers of implant clinicians are choosing Inserta for the quality of its implant solutions, innovative digital workflows, excellent clinical education and high level of technical support.

We are now looking for an experienced implant professional who can take that proposition into the Scottish market and build a strong, sustainable territory.

THE ROLE

This is not simply an account-management position.

We are looking for an experienced dental implant salesperson with a demonstrable history of winning new clinics, developing territories and building long-term commercial relationships with implant clinicians.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors and developing trusted relationships with dentists, implantologists, oral surgeons and other key clinical decision-makers.

Many prospective customers will already be working successfully with established implant systems. The successful person therefore needs to be confident approaching clinics, understanding their existing clinical and commercial arrangements and demonstrating where Inserta can provide genuine additional value.

The best sales professionals do not wait for opportunities to appear. They identify them, ask the right questions, understand the challenges within a practice and turn those conversations into long-term commercial relationships.

You will have full responsibility for the development of your territory and its results.

The opportunity is significant, but so are our expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned Scottish territory.
  • Proactively identify and approach dental practices and implant clinicians.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with dentists, implantologists, oral surgeons and key opinion leaders.
  • Introduce Inserta implant systems into practices currently using established competitor brands.
  • Understand existing surgical, restorative and digital workflows and identify opportunities to add genuine clinical and commercial value.
  • Promote Inserta’s dental implant systems, restorative solutions and digital workflows.
  • Manage the complete commercial cycle from initial prospecting and first clinic contact through to conversion and ongoing account development.
  • Grow a sustainable portfolio of implant customers across the territory.
  • Support clinicians during the introduction and adoption of Inserta products.
  • Represent Inserta professionally within the Scottish dental implant market.
  • Work closely with the wider UK and European teams as the business continues to expand.

THE PERSON

For this position, we are specifically looking for somebody with direct experience within the dental implant industry.

You should already understand the dynamics of implant selling and be comfortable discussing implant systems and related solutions with experienced clinicians.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate personal success in:

  • Winning new dental practices.
  • Developing a geographical territory.
  • Selling dental implant systems.
  • Competing successfully against established implant brands.
  • Converting clinicians from incumbent systems.
  • Negotiating and closing new business.
  • Developing newly acquired customers into substantial long-term accounts.

Essential requirements

  • Previous professional sales experience within the dental implant industry.
  • Proven success developing new business and opening new dental accounts.
  • Genuine field-sales experience with responsibility for an individual territory.
  • Experience selling directly to dentists, implantologists and/or oral surgeons.
  • Strong understanding of the dental implant market.
  • Excellent communication, questioning and consultative-selling skills.
  • The credibility to build relationships with experienced clinical professionals.
  • A commercially ambitious, resilient and self-motivated approach.
  • Strong personal organisation and territory-management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.

Highly desirable

  • An established network of implant clinicians and dental practices within Scotland.
  • Experience working directly for a dental implant manufacturer.
  • Knowledge of implant prosthetics and restorative workflows.
  • Experience with digital dentistry and digital implant workflows.
  • A proven record of introducing a new implant brand or gaining business from established competitors.

WHY INSERTA?

Selling dental implants requires far more than product knowledge.

It requires credibility, persistence, an understanding of clinical practice and the ability to build relationships that clinicians genuinely value.

At Inserta, you will join an ambitious international company with innovative technology, strong clinical support and a leadership team committed to long-term growth and professional development.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a territory and play an important part in the continued development of Inserta within the UK.

READY FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE?

If you already know the dental implant market, have a strong record of developing new clinic business and are excited by the opportunity to build a territory and grow with an ambitious international implant company, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Applicant data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data-protection legislation solely for the purposes of managing the recruitment process.
