Senior Full Stack Engineer

Edinburgh (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

£80,000 to £100,000

We're partnering with a growing B2B SaaS business that is hiring its first core in-house engineer. Their platform is live in Beta, and they now need a senior engineer to own it technically and lead its development into a commercial, scalable product. You'll have real influence over the platform's direction and over how the internal engineering function is built from the ground up.

Who You Are

• A hands-on engineer who cares about the product as much as the code behind it

• Comfortable owning outcomes end to end, rather than picking up tickets

• Pragmatic in your architectural choices, balancing today's needs with future scale

• Confident explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Essential

• Strong modern JavaScript and TypeScript

• React, with Next.js experience preferred

• Backend and API development

• SQL and relational database design

• Building applications in the cloud

• Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines

• A track record of building and maintaining production software

• Integrating external APIs and data services

Desirable

• PostgreSQL

• Microsoft Azure

• React Native or Expo

• Data-intensive B2B SaaS products

• Multi-tenant platform architecture

• Taking on and improving an existing codebase
