This role is perfect for individuals with established experience in handling small business sales and purchases within the commercial property sector. Situated in a central location in Edinburgh, the position offers substantial senior support and a vibrant office culture amidst the heart of the city.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the management of small business sales and purchases within the commercial property sector.
• Prepare legal documents, contracts, and other paperwork related to commercial property transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide support on property law matters.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other parties to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Manage and maintain files and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate closely with senior staff to discuss case details and strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial property and small business transactions.
• Strong understanding of property law and the legal aspects of property sales and purchases.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
