General Foreman
We are looking for an experienced General Foreman to oversee earthworks operations on a highway construction scheme.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site gangs, plant operators and subcontractors.
- Oversee bulk earthworks, cut and fill, excavation and embankment construction.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.
- Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maintain productivity.
- Monitor daily progress and report to the Site Manager.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, RAMS and site requirements.
- Liaise with engineers and site management to resolve any issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in highway construction and earthworks.
- Strong leadership and site supervision skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.
