Human Resources Generalist - #2175246

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a HR Generalist for a contract until end of January 2027 on a rate of £186.37/day (Inside IR35). This role is hybrid based.

Essential Skills:

- Comprehensive experience of working in a generalist HR role

- Experience of working with senior managers

- CIPD qualified

- Development of HR Related Policy and Procedure

- Experience of working on complex HR Casework

- Confident use of HR information systems

- Ability to identify key people management risks

- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels

- Ability to demonstrate integrity and credibility

- Ability to influence at all levels

- Ability to deliver organisation focused, solution based advice.

- Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for making decisions

- Ability to delegate effectively

- In depth knowledge of up to date employment legislation

- Ability to identify future risks in line with proposed changes to employment legislation

- Ability to present information confidently in a group setting

- Ability to manage conflict

- Confidently challenge resistance and bad practice

- Pro-active self-starter
