Work pattern: Fully onsite (5 days a week)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a technically capable 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to manage escalated IT issues, maintain client systems and deliver reliable technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Windows, servers, endpoints and network infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, authentication and devices using Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune.
• Diagnose connectivity, security and access-related problems.
• Take ownership of support tickets, keeping clients informed throughout the resolution process.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system deployments and technical improvements.
• Support junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience in 2nd Line IT Support, ideally within an MSP or multi-client environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Windows Server.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, Intune and endpoint management.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs and firewalls.
• Familiarity with MFA, endpoint security, backup and recovery, remote support and ticketing systems.
• Relevant Microsoft, networking or security certifications are advantageous.
