Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a Procurement Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop a career within procurement and supply chain. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth purchasing of goods and services whilst maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting wider business operations.

• Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
• Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, deliveries and general enquiries
• Monitor supplier performance and assist with contract administration
• Support procurement activities to ensure value for money and compliance with company procedures
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
• Resolve invoice and purchase order queries alongside the finance team
• Track orders and delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services
• Assist with tender and supplier review processes when required
• Produce procurement reports and provide administrative support to the wider team

• Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar administrative role
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience using ERP, procurement or finance systems would be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
