Interim Project Manager
Edinburgh (Hybrid Working)
Minimum 9-Month Contract
Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Up to c.£50,000

LHH is delighted to be partnering with Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans to recruit an Interim Project Manager who will play a key role in leading and coordinating the proposed merger of the two charities.

Working closely with the Director of Social Change, Boards of Trustees and senior leadership teams, the successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership to manage the merger process, ensuring key workstreams, stakeholders and decision-making processes remain aligned and on track.

As the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering the overall project plan, managing timelines, risks, dependencies and governance arrangements throughout the merger evaluation and potential implementation process.

Working across governance, finance, operations, people and communications, you will coordinate multiple workstreams, oversee due diligence and financial planning activities, and ensure key milestones are achieved. You will also prepare high-quality Board papers, reports and recommendations, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and provide regular progress updates to support effective decision-making.

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex organisational change, transformation or merger projects. You will bring excellent project management, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, alongside experience working with Boards, Committees and senior leadership teams. Strong financial and commercial awareness, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a hands-on role, will be essential.

Experience within the third sector and knowledge of charity governance would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile strategic project that could shape the future direction and impact of two prestigious Scottish charities.

If you are an experienced Project Manager looking for a rewarding interim opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact, we would welcome your application.
