Location: Edinburgh
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for an experienced and commercially minded Hire Manager to lead their Edinburgh branch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach to manage a busy tool and equipment hire operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and achieve branch targets.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of three.
• Deliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Manage stock levels and ensure equipment is safe, maintained and ready for hire.
• Build strong customer relationships and support business growth.
• Work closely with the wider branch team to maximise sales opportunities.

Previous Experience:

• Experience in tool hire, plant hire, sales or customer service.
• Previous team leadership or management experience is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A strong focus on health and safety, teamwork and operational standards.
