Are you an experienced Legal PA looking for a role where you can become a genuinely valued part of the team you support?

I’m working with a highly regarded Scottish law firm looking to appoint an experienced Legal PA to join their Edinburgh office, supporting three Partners across Corporate and Employment Law.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working closely with senior fee earners. You’ll be right at the heart of two busy practice areas, helping Partners stay organised, keeping matters moving and delivering an excellent service to clients.

You’ll gain exposure across both Corporate and Employment work, with responsibilities ranging from corporate documentation and Companies House forms through to preparing Employment Tribunal bundles.

Alongside the legal work, you’ll have ownership across diary management, client onboarding, billing, WIP, aged debt and the day-to-day organisation of your Partners.

Your role will include:

• Providing dedicated PA support to three Partners across Corporate and Employment
• Managing busy diaries, appointments, meetings and email correspondence
• Preparing and amending corporate documentation
• Drafting Companies House forms
• Collating and preparing Employment Tribunal bundles
• Managing client onboarding, conflict checks and compliance requirements
• Supporting monthly billing, WIP and aged debt management
• Producing documents and maintaining accurate files
• Handling calls from existing and prospective clients
• Providing digital dictation support
• Proactively supporting fee earners to improve workflow and efficiency

What are they looking for? Ideally, you’ll already have experience as a Legal PA, PA, Legal Executive or in a similar professional support position.

You’ll be organised, confident managing competing priorities and comfortable working closely with senior fee earners. Strong client-care skills and excellent attention to detail are essential, alongside confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.

Most importantly, they’re looking for someone proactive, adaptable and switched-on, who wants to become a trusted part of the team rather than simply wait for tasks to land on their desk.
