More about your role

You will act as the face of Places for People at our Hay Avenue office in Edinburgh, you will be greeting and supporting internal and external visitors, staff, and customers in a friendly and courteous manner. To maintain safety and security you will plan for known visitors by filling in visitors passes and monitoring visitors signing in book. Managing the incoming and outgoing post. Taking incoming calls, transferring them to the appropriate section of the business. You will provide a general admin role for our staff, arranging conference calls, updating room bookings, and managing the reception inbox.

This is for a full time, permanent position, working across Monday to Friday at 36.25 hours per week.

More about you

Along with previous reception experience, we are looking for someone with a background within a customer focused environment. You will be the face of Places for People therefore we need you to have excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. You should have clerical or administrative skills with the ability to prioritise requests and workload.
